I am originally from the states ( lived there for 27 years) and has recently moved to Budapest. In the states all my girl friends and I do our own make up, tweeze our own eyebrows, we know how to put fake lashes on …ect… ALL SELF TAUGHT!! lol The point is, I don’t need to spend money on some salon to do these things for me when all I need are the right tools. Soooooo I wan t to find a beauty supply shop…..Can anyone pls help me 
for example – wax, wax strips
nail equipment ( gels) ect.

I live 6 months per year in Budapest with my husband and only pay for haircuts. Do everything else myself since I am a cosmetologist in the states.
I have gone into many beauty supply houses in Hungary and am sort of disappointed in their selection of products. I usually send all of my hair color and conditioners over from the states in a package. The US post office used to have a very cheap rate but the package would take up to 2 months to arrive. They have discontinued that service so nowadays, it is faster but very expensive.
I can't seem to find all of the products I want in one store in Hungary, they may have a shampoo but not the conditioner that goes with it.
i have checked out the prices of Bed Head products in the salons there and they are so over priced. You may be better off having someone send you the big must have's and then just winging it.
I use Shiedio products but they are at least 3 times more in Hungary.
i once dropped a bottle of face cream that cost $50. in the states and it was over $110. in Hungary to replace it.
I do know that you can find good salons for facials and eyebrow waxing etc. in Hungary for around $30-35 dollars which is really a good deal.
I used to go get my hair cut at Laszlo Hajos studio but this last summer the dollar was so weak and their prices went up. I didn't feel like paying $60 plus for a haircut that wasn't even as good as the girlhere in Vegas does for only $40.
I have had my share of bad haircuts in Hungary as well as some really good ones.
I found a women that doesn't speak English to do my hair and so far so good. She is around $30. a cut.It is hard because I have to drag my Hungarian husband into the salons with me which is something he hates to do.
All I can really recommend is send some stuff that you need and see if anyone will mail you things if you run out.
I plan on retireing there in a couple of years and hope they get it together there before then.
Edit: I do know that there are some Sally Beauty Supply houses in Europe, not in Hungary though.You may still be able to order on line and then have things shipped to you. It is so carzy to see the prices over there on products.Regular drug store brand masscara was around $15. a tube, stuff that is $5-6 bucks at walmart.
Again, carry as much product with you. You will be glad you did.
